Teacher Tools started out as a collection of handouts from workshops the author presented as a teacher trainer, in which she shares her experience of more than 25 years as an English teacher. Although 112 activities are suggested, the book goes beyond simply listing recipes: it explains the rationale behind them, while encouraging the readers to adapt, and showing where to look if they want to know more. It also offers additional tools to the teachers, such as common homophones in English, conversion factors for weight and measurement units, differences between American and British English, verb/preposition combinations, and a quick reference guide to useful websites. Interesting activities and information can be bookmarked by means of a set of stickers which are included.
